Growing up with a family farm market, my favourite part was always working behind the till, cashing out customers and restocking displays. When I graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture I decided to come back to the farm and reinvigorate and rebrand our farm shop with my siblings.

 

I spent 14 years growing Murphy's Farm Market and Bakery in Alliston, ON on our 5th generation farm, into an award winning much beloved community business. I oversaw the retail farm store, scratch bakery, staff training and our brand development in packaging, merchandising and customer experiences. I got to live out my childhood dreams, owning my very own store.

I now get to support other entrepreneurs in building out their dream businesses and helping them create impactful experiences for their customers. Through initial audits and bigger picture planning I help business owners to build spaces with intention, create memorable impactful moments for visitors and brands that reflect the unique stories of the owners.

The customer experience is about a feeling that is derived from all the touch points from your website to your curb appeal, your displays, traffic flow, staff greetings and a million other details. My approach to retail experience design and is one that makes the customer feel joyful, excited and want to linger longer. I work with bricks and mortar businesses in the agriculture sector and beyond to create thriving, scalable and memorable experiences for customers.
